We are delighted to welcome the music group Vache Baroque to the LJS for a concert of 16th–17th century music including works by the Jewish composer Salomone Rossi.

The concert will be immediately followed by the Selichot service, which all are welcome to stay for. The Selichot service is an atmospheric service inaugurating the High Holy Day season of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur – a season with themes of reflection, repentance, renewal and return.

Security at the Liberal Jewish Synagogue 

Please be aware that the LJS remains on heightened security alert. Our Security Team is made up of a dedicated group of volunteers. They are instructed to search all items carried regardless of whether or not you are known to them personally, and this is done for everyone’s the safety. Please treat them with respect and comply with their requests.  

Kindly note that only handbag-sized bags will be allowed in the building. Please avoid bringing any suitcases, large bags, backpacks, etc. with you as there will be no facilities for these to be stored.
