The Liberal Jewish Synagogue is seeking a further Rabbi
We are looking to appoint a further full-time or part-time Rabbi to join the team led by our Senior Rabbi, Alexandra Wright.
This is an exciting time to be part of the LJS, with 1700+ members and a full and stimulating programme of services, events and learning opportunities. We welcome candidates who have a passion for the principles of Liberal Judaism and who want to play a full role in the smooth running of day-to-day rabbinic responsibilities.
The appointed Rabbi will be expected to engage well with younger members, whilst also providing intellectual stimulation and pastoral support for the congregation as a whole. We are looking for someone who is a ‘team player’, who will work with, and complement the skills and experience of our Rabbis.
This position is open to Rabbis with a few years’ experience within a community and 5th year Rabbinic Students who are able to demonstrate particular interest in the nurturing and development of our younger members – Kabbalat Torah graduates, university students and adults up to mid-30s.
