Youth for Youth

We welcome and encourage children and young people to participate in all areas of the community.

The Kabbalat Torah students go away together for a weekend to Amsterdam, and our teenagers join those of other Synagogues at Liberal Judaism weekends away and at the Liberal Judaism Summer School, Macheneh Kadimah. They act as Assistant teachers in the Religion School, they help in the Shabbat crèche and the Tiny Tots service and are very active in providing volunteer support in many areas of the Synagogue.

We welcome visiting students. Please contact the LJS office to be put on our mailing list and to obtain free High Holyday tickets.

If you are a member of the LJS and going to University away from home, please let the LJS office know your email address and mobile phone number. We will also be glad to put you in touch with the Jewish community in your university town.
